Apply to be an xTx ground-proofer

We’re currently seeking very skilled, very seasoned, knowledgeable self-supporting, detail-oriented volunteer hikers, cyclists, and equestrians to help us ground-proof and improve the xTexas Trail Project draft route.

This means ensuring that you have enough clean water and food, and can handle sourcing your own overnight camping sites.

This is a trail in the making, not one fully developed already.

Bonus points to those who excel at working with Ride with GPS, Gaia GPS, and FarOut GPS apps.

We’re also interested in connecting with those who know of access to utility corridors, and landowners (or are landowners) to gain access navigate sections of the route off highways and roads.

And creatives are welcome! If you can help us continue to tell the story of the route unfolding visually let us know! But again, you need to be seasoned, fit, and self-supporting.
